I chose this for my idea because it felt like many people can relate to it and it occurs with me almost every morning and I think it happens to others too. I’m not sure about my steps of developing this idea but I just somehow thought of it. While making this webcomic, the specific visuals, writing decisions, and details I did was making the emotions match me and the readers to make it more dramatic and relatable, I used color to add exaggeration while keeping it fun, the sun rising every panel to make it look like time is moving, and some sound waves coming from the alarm when it goes off to make the reader hear it without really hearing anything. To balance the narratives and images, I shortened the narratives and sentences so that the words don't cover the entire panel, while making sure the narratives aren't too short. I even tried making the images look obvious in what's going on. This webcomic memoir had nothing to do with Persepolis, I’m pretty sure it doesn't. No, I didn't use AI on this assignment, though maybe I should, but if I were to, I probably would use Sora AI.
