In my webcomic I chose this story because in Persepolis many tragic things happen so I used a tragic story of my own. It was also an important thing that happened to me because it taught me that death can happen anywhere and to anyone so I've always cherished life a little more after it.

When I was developing my webcomic I first wrote it in a story ark graphic organizer but forgot to write a big part of the story which I forgot after that I did my panel planner and then eventually the webcomic.

In my webcomic some visual choices I made were at the end of the comic you can see I'm crying and the panel has a distinct lack of color. This is because I feel that when something doesn't have color it's sad hence why I chose to not have color for such a sad panel. I balanced words and images by again using facial expressions to show emotion and when the panel needed more context I would use words.
