My Webcomic is about the Eaton fires in January. It shows my experience with losing my school and my community. This fire devastated many people from losing their schools to losing homes to even losing loved ones. I chose to create my webcomic about this topic because that experience had a huge impact on me. I still remember the feeling of uncertainty and fear that covered la in January. I wanted to capture this emotion and and moments not just through writing but through images and drawings, I used dark shadows and red collared pencils to show depth sadness and fear, I wanted to capture the glow of the fire that night and the feelings I felt when I found out, and what it had done to our community and my own school. I used story boarding and sketching to draft my comic. My comic relates the persepolis because just like in Marjis life I learned how to face fear, loss and destruction by something that was out of my control
