The main reason that I chose this prompt (family and relationships) was I vividly remember being super bummed out about Drew Brees getting injured that day and that my close friend believed that Brees was washed and no longer a top 3 quarterback in the league. But I still believed because they were my favorite team with all of my favorite players like Micheal Tomas, Alvin Kamara, Marsean Lattimore and of course Drew Brees and after Brees got hurt the saints cycled through 9 quarterbacks since Drew Brees retired and have since become the worst team in the NFL right now. Finally some visual details I chose and why, I chose to do lightning bolt like shapes around Drew Brees when we got hit to get the reader to know that it was a loud hit you could hear the CRACK! Of the two players pads against each other from the broadcasters booth.

Overall this webcomic had a pretty loose connection to Persepolis but it did connect with the conflict with someone close to you, after the injury to Brees me and my friend where talking and he told me some things that I didn’t agree with (he was a jets fan) so we had a augment wich didn’t turn out to good.
