I chose this topic because it was the first thing I thought of when I saw ( think of a conflict you had with your friends). And it was also pretty memorable at the time. The steps I took to develop this story was breaking down what I remembered from the story, and I tried to write as many words as I could

Some emotions I tried to show were sad, mad and happy. The way I tried to show them expressing those feelings was by coloring different colors around their head, like blue=sad, yellow=happy, yellow and blue=mixed feelings. I balanced the images and the words by thinking about what they said and summarizing it and I didn't draw every single detail. That's how I balanced it out. This is inspired by Persepolis by Marjane and how she didn't grow up with real friends.
