Every time I see nature in our city, there is trash. I see it everywhere. All over the hills by the freeway on my way to school, outside my house and even in the forests and oceans where other wildlife lives. I am reminded that we need to take better care of nature. Some people call nature gross, ugly and dirty. But the truth is, we are the ones who make it that way. We are the villains in this story. Yes, it is our fault, but I'm sure we can set things right again.

This belief came from seeing how people are treating our planet these days. Many people think it's okay to just throw their trash outside their car window when driving or leave their trash on the floor of the park.I have been seeing our oceans filled with trash.trees cut and burned, and our air smokey and gray.

But this isn't really about keeping nature safe for ourselves. It's about just taking care of it. Not because we should, but because we need to. In a world where nature does everything for us, we need to keep it safe. If we work hard to keep our earth clean, we could make life better for ourselves and nature. Cleaner air, cleaner water and even a cleaner life for us all. Just think about it!

Some ways we can help are by, picking up our trash and being responsible for what products we buy (like getting paper bags instead of plastic)

But overall, we are making progress. I have seen people picking up their trash, planting pretty plants in their garden and stores using paper bags instead of plastic. More and more people each day work hard to make our world more eco-friendly. After all, nature has done almost everything for us humans, we need to at least try to show our thanks.
