Making your Bed in the Morning is the Best thing you can do
Dean Omar
I believe that making your bed is the best way to start your morning. After all, you
spend every night, countless hours a day there. Making your bed everyday can be so much more than a chore, it can be a way to present yourself showing how much you value a tidy room showing the fact that you aren't lazy.
Making your room tidy in some cultures is a sign of respect. Making your bed teaches you discipline and consistency. These will help you in so many ways, more than you can imagine, it will help with work ethic ultimately helping you secure good jobs and a better future for yourself and maybe your family.
All I'm trying to say is that consistency is the best policy in life. Showing up is the best thing you can do for yourself. All of this just from a little bed you're thinking. The little things matter too, and maybe rather than overlooking them, it's in your best interest. I mean, come on, it only takes 2 minutes out of your day to just make your bed.
When you make your bed you shouldn’t look at it as a task or a chore, look at it as a step of progressively making you a harder working person and teaching you to stay organized at the same time. You’re probably wondering why I value discipline so much? As a Muslim fasting during Ramadan teaches you to be thankful for what you have and to be disciplined. Fasting every day for a month sun down to sun up nobody said it was easy yet you can do it, even if you didn’t know. Having great discipline will make you able to achieve things you didn’t even know you could accomplish.
I believe making your bed is making you even close to the best version of yourself and ultimately making it the best way to start your morning.
Writer's Statement
I believe that making your bed in the morning is the best way to start your day. In my beliefs essay I talk about the belief that making your bed everyday can benefit you. I mean making your bed every day, I mean doing anything every day takes discipline and doing it even when you don't want to. When it comes to sports they always say that “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work,’’ but in order to work hard you need to have discipline. The philosophy of always showing up is a huge belief of mine that comes with discipline. Making your bed is so much more than a chore and you shouldn't look at it that way. Make it a goal and know that if you make your bed everyday you are not just making your room tidy and clean, but expanding your work ethic.
