I started reading a book series called NANA. NANA is about two girls with the exact same name NANA. In the beginning of the book we get introduced to Nana Komatsu, a very upbeat,soft,thoughtful, and emotional character. Komatsu is a young woman who has never ending boy problems and constantly relies on others. She eventually moves to Tokyo, hoping that she can finally get her life straight, stop relying on others, and find her true love. In the process she meets a girl named Nana Osaki. Unlike Komatsu, Osaki is a very confident,cool character who is a singer in a band and doesn't rely on others and just focuses on herself and her one dream of becoming Japan's number 1 superstar. Even though both of the Nana’s are very different they surprisingly get along very well and become best friends. I recommend reading NANA if you enjoy drama,gossip,and a little bit of a sad book. NANA is a manga so it's definitely a book you can read quickly. But if you don't like to read it's also an anime. Overall the book was great and it made me want to read more so I recommend it, it's great!
