Daisy jones and the six is by taylor jenkins reid and is a realistic fiction novel written like a series of interviews with a 1970s rock band loosely based on Fleetwood Mac. It tells the story of the band's rise to fame and eventual breakup. The story mainly follows daisy jones and billie dunne, the lead singers of the band while they become famous and struggle with addiction, relationships, and the pressure of fame. Each character is so detailed in this story and the music, while not being real, is well written and sounds real. Overall, I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone. The story and characters kept me interested the whole time.
